Ben Soper
Ben wrote and directed Paper Cuts for the Little Pictures scheme in 2005/2006. He attended the Writers Factory Course in conjunction with the UK Film Council and directed his debut play The Noise Of Everything at the Roxy Art House in Edinburgh. Ben has since collaborated on a feature film project with up and coming filmmaker Matt Palmer whilst continuing to write his own short and feature projects.
Ben has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme by GMAC with the project Night School
Night School is a fever dream romance, a love story that plays out like a horror film. A young couple spend the night exploring a derelict school. Strangers to one another they struggle to achieve the intimacy they long for. What unfolds is a dark and sensual study of the complexities of closeness.
