New dates for Script Reading this Spring

Would you have spotted the genius of Peter Morgan's The Queen at script stage?

We've just opened up new dates for our perennially popular Script Reading course this Spring. The course is an invaluable insight into the beginnings of the filmmaking process. By looking at produced screenplays and reading work by new screenwriters over two days, course participants explore what makes a good screen story, learn to identify the potential within a script and explore how to recognise screenwriting talent.

We've been running this course for 10 years and rarely get to the end of our waiting list with each course running at capacity. We also travel around the world teaching versions of this training (just next month we’ll be back in Australia to deliver Script Reading training as guests of Screen Australia). We've also adapted it to suit the specific needs of numerous different industry fields from distributors to agents - our annual relationship with the Film Distributor's Association kicks off again this March.

Script Reading Training isn’t just for writers and developers – it’s useful for anyone who comes into contact with story, so it suits producers, directors, editors – and even would-be script readers.
